Ravenwood Golf Club offers a vast number of programs, clinics and camps for younger golfers.
To attend either of the leagues, a clinic or a group lesson, you can sign up for the event online through Ravenwood's event calendar (powered by Smarter Lessons).
If you have not used the event calendar before, you will have to create a Smarter Lessons account after selecting the event to complete the sign-up process.
Nike Golf Schools & Camps
There is no one road to golf improvement. Nike Golf Schools & Jr. Camps offer a variety of programs designed for the needs of each camper. Mornings are spent in small instruction groups working on putting, chipping bunker play and the full swing. Afternoons are spent in supervised course play, rounding out the coverage. Beginning, intermediate and advanced players can immerse themselves in the sport for an entire week.
Junior Overnight Camps
For boys and girls ages 10 – 18, all skill levels. Price includes all meals, housing at St. John Fisher College and golf activities. Overnight camps for 2008 will be held from July 20th – 24th. For more information, visit Nike's website.
Junior Day Camps
For boys and girls, ages 9–16, all skill levels. Price includes all golf activities and lunch daily. Choose the option of a full or half-day camp.

Leagues
Junior Development League
This is an opportunity for young golfers to build on the skills they already possess. Players will be placed in divisions based on ability.
Each participant has the opportunity to play up to 9 holes each week. End-of-League awards will be given based on weekly points accumulated.
League Costs:
- Registration - $20
- Daily League Fee - $12
Please sign up for each session no less than 48 hours before it is scheduled.

Ravenwood High School League
Our 20-week high school league is open to juniors who are already on their high school's varsity or JV golfing team. Please contact Paul Sanders (585-924-6750) for an application form; spots are limited.
Futures Clinics
Designed for players aged 7 to 17. Students may sign up for as many or as few sessions as they like. Balls and clubs will be available if needed. During each 1-hour session, our PGA & LPGA instructors will concentrate on three areas of development:
- Skill
- One swing technique that is related to a specific shot
- Knowledge
- One golf rule that is associated with that day's Skill topic
- Character
- One player responsibility associated with that day's Skill topic
Cost: $12 per clinic
Students who are also enrolled in the Junior Development League may receive bonus points by attending Futures' Clinics.

Group Lessons for Juniors
We offer a variety of juniors lessons are for boys and girls of all playing abilities, ages 4 - 17. Not only will they teach basic rules and ettiquette, but the fundamentals of how to hold the club, posture, stance, alignment, back swing and finish. Putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play will also be covered.
LPGA Teaching Professional Ann Pangman Esterman will be teaching these lessons. Each class requires a minimum of 4 students and is limited to a maximum of 10 students.

Girls Only Lessons: This class is for girls of all playing abilities, ages 6-17 years.

Child with Adult Lessons: Looking for something special to do with your child, grandchild, niece or nephew? This program is for boys and girls 5-9 years old accompanied by an adult who is looking to improve their own golf game, or perhaps learn how to golf for the first time along with that very special “little” person in their life. What a fun way to introduce them to golf!
